Superclub interprets music from a built-in record player in a very archaic way. The music played is detected by a microphone which steers the movement of a mechanical hand. This hand moves quickly into the electromagnetical sensor-field of a theremin. The changing frequencies of the theremin steer the lever gear of the records-pitch control. Audience members who enter the sensory-field become part of the system. As participants, these viewers can influence the speed of the record.
