Agnus Dei (After Zurbarán), 2015
Carrara marble, 3D printed steel
30 x 20 x 9.5 in / 76 x 51 x 24.1 cm
Agnus Dei (After Zurbarán) derives its form from a 1635 painting by Francisco de Zurbarán of a bound lamb. Rendered life-size in marble and with a ornamented couch-like skin, the piece conjures notions of bondage by technology and materialism.
