Third Person

Third Person, 2006
Shadow Box 2
Software, LCD Screen, computer, camera
Edition of 6

An interactive display draws the viewer’s portrait in real time with hundreds of tiny words, which are all the verbs in the dictionary conjugated in the third person. The portrait of the viewer is drawn in real time by active words which appear automatically to fill the viewer’s silhouette. The words can be displayed in English, Spanish or French, or a combination of the three languages.

This work also exists as a large-scale, projected interactive installation.
