The traveler in World of Awe takes on female form in the two photography series, Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Ribbon from SPIN_LOCK envelops her young body, surrounding it in a womb-like web of code. Software serves as “soft wear” or lingerie.” In each picture the figure performs a human equivalent of a computer’s basic operating system functions – sleep mode, attaching and multitasking. These images ask, “What is the emotional impact of technology on humanity?”
