With Learning Machine #1: Values, voters select from 300 “values” adapted from the Myers & Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®). Values are arranged as binaries, emulating the two-party candidate selection in United States voting. Votes are tallied by computer vision, with the results generating a digital montage of Instagram images and New York Times articles based on the words a voter selects. The montage is continuous, therefore reflecting the flow of voting rather than singular results.
